I was visiting a friend yesterday and found the need to use their restroom. While in the restroom, I realized there was no toilet paper on the roll. My frantic search began. Opened every cabinet and drawer in a desperate search for that elusive roll of Charmin. Where could it be? Not even a Sears and Robuck catalog to be found? whatzupwithat?
The Girl Scouts ripped me off!
It’s that time of year again. The Girl Scouts of America hit the streets with sweets and help us break that diet we began January 1. Even though it isn’t so good for our figures or our health, we Americans don’t seem to mind. It’s all in the name of a worthy cause, right? With the economy in such bad shape, I decided to limit my order to only three boxes this year. My little neighborhood Girl Scout delivered the 2 boxes of Samoas and 1 box of Do-se-does yesterday. The Girl Scout informed me that I owed her $10.50. I gave her fifteen dollars. Without giving me my change, she ran to her mom’s mini van, took off and never returned! whatzupwithat?
